Frequently Asked Questions

What instruments are in a string quartet?
Traditionally, the string quartet is made of 2 violins, viola, and cello.

How do the musicians dress?
Formal black, unless otherwise specified.

What do you require at the venue?
A space of 8ft. by 8ft. and 4 upright, armless chairs.

Would you be willing to play outdoors?
Yes. Our only concern would be the safety of our instruments, so we require full shade (especially in the summer) and absolutely no precipitation.

Do you play for receptions as well as the wedding ceremony?
Sure!

My wedding ceremony and the reception are in two different locations. How do you charge for that?
The quartet charges the full length of the engagement, including travel time between locations.

How much do you charge?
